According to the report, Chery will be a minority owner in the planned joint venture, but will start producing Omoda brand models earlier than Ebro. Another brand that should come to Europe is Jaecoo. An offshoot of Nobel Exlantix should follow later.

Majority owner Ebro – the traditional brand of the revived EV Motors group – wants to produce cars at the former Nissan plant from the fourth quarter. A fully electric pickup truck and car have been announced.
