Marc Schipper; the owner of GP Elite makes a young man’s dream come true! Taking part in Colin McRae’s Subaru Impreza Group A!


At a young age he was already crazy about the meeting. From watching rallies on TV and on the side of the road, to a poster of Colin McRae’s blue Subaru Impreza above his bed, this sport was his passion. He ever wanted Marc Schipper Just like its rally heroes, it can withstand the toughest rally tests with full control. His ultimate teenage dream: to ride Colin McRae’s factory equipment.

Marc has worked hard for many years with determination and passion. He has made motorsport his career, takes part in international rallies and regularly drives his dream car: Colin McRae’s Subaru Impreza Group A. Note: the actual car that used to hang on a poster above his bed in his parents’ house.

During the Rallylegend in San Marino he looked back on his youth and his way through the rally. This can be seen in the short documentary ‘Subaru Dream: The Story of Marc Schipper’. With this he hopes to inspire riders and show that dreams can become reality, no matter how big.

Schipper: “As a little boy I saw Colin McRae flying through the air in a blue Subaru with yellow stickers on it. I thought: Wow, this is great what those people are doing there. I want to do something with motorsport.” And he did. Marc Schipper is the founder of the successful motorsport company GP Elite. Which has been providing various motorsport (sports) training for over 16 years. The company even has its own team of race, which participates in several major championships. The GP Elite team has been champions in the Porsche Supercup. They hope to be able to compete for the championship again next season.
