Sultan of Brunei Exclusive Lamborghini LM002 for sale

Lamborghini, throughout its history, has produced cars that we don’t even recognize. Now, we told you about the LM002 model recently because of a customer who took a Revuelto pulled by this car (for a clean show). Almost by accident, now, the model LM002, which belonged to the Sultan of Brunei, is for sale.

The Lamborghini LM002 is an absolute rarity: it was produced in only 300 examples between 1986 and 1993. This version is sold with an extended roof (even more exclusive) and is part of a unique collection of cars in Sweden, owned by the luxury car dealer Motikon. The change from a pickup truck to a truck added about 500 kg of weight to 2494 kg is already significant, for a total of about 3 tons. If we add the fact that this car has a powerful V-12 engine inherited from the Countach, this model The LM002 definitely uses a lot of oil. In the previous article we tried to imagine the future in which Lamborghini developed a successor to the LM002.

The model for sale is from 1989 and It is in excellent condition, having driven only about 6,200 miles (just under 10,000 km in all these years). Although Motikon plans to do some cosmetic upgrades, the car already looks like a real piece of motoring history as it is. It is important to say that Lamborghini did not officially change the off-roader to the station wagon version, but approved this special modification, therefore, this is a 100% car.

But not that all, this particular Lamborghini LM002 led by the Sultan of Brunei, which he owned for a short time before being bought by the former CEO of BMW and Volkswagen, Bernd Pischetsrieder. It later passed from hand to hand, and ended up being used by a Swedish woman (whose name has not been given) who used it, perhaps not knowing she was driving, to take her children to school. Inside, in fact, there is no shortage of space thanks to the three passenger seats and three benches available.

Being a car over 35 years old, urgently needs new tires. Motikon founder and CEO Filip Larsson is currently looking to buy a set of new tires before this model goes on sale, but these are very hard to come by. Price? 54,000 dollars, at an exchange rate of approximately 49,674 euros.
