The European range of the Ford Mustang welcomes several new products, in time for the 60th anniversary of the famous American pony car.

The Ford Mustang California Special pays homage to the 1968 eponymous special edition, inspired by the mood of the American West Coast. It offers a palette of 8 body colors, including “Iconic Silver” gray and “Vapor Blue”, and adds distinctive side stripes in “Rave Blue” or low-gloss black, signed “GT/CS”. 19-inch alloy wheels are also special, with touches of “Rave Blue” feature, while “GT/CS” and “GT” badges respectively adorn the front grille and boot lid.
Inside, we find “Navy Pier” blue upholstery and “Ebony Black” leather seats, in contrast to the blue “Raptor Blue” and gray “Metal Grey”, which can be found on the dashboard, doors, steering wheel and center console. Based on the Mustang GT, the Mustang California Special is available in Convertible silhouette, with a 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, or a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Ford also confirms the upcoming arrival in Europe Ford Mustang GTD (GT Daytona): a road racing car, with its supercharged 5.2 V8 engine producing more than 800 horsepower. It features modern technologies, such as aerodynamics, carbon fiber bodywork, magnesium rims, ceramic brakes carbon and semi-active suspension.
On June 15 and 16, the Mustang GTD will be seen in action at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, during the participation of the Mustang GT3 in the famous endurance race. Orders for the Mustang GTD are expected to open this summer 2024.
Finally, starting April 30, 2024, Ford will open orders for a special edition of its new electric SUV: the Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally, a rally-inspired but road-approved version. It is distinguished by its two side stripes, its unique front end and its impressive rear spoiler, not to mention the 19-inch white alloy wheels, inspired by competition on dirt roads.

The Mustang Mach-E Rally is powered by a twin electric motor with 486 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque, and has a ground clearance raised by 20 mm compared to the standard GT version.
