At the beginning of April 2023, Ford brought us the new generation of the Transit Courier model. We also once saw its version of zero output and the “E” note.
Now it’s time for the passenger variant of this model. We are now also shown an internal combustion engine and fully electric version of the Ford Tourneo Courier.

The new Tourneo Courier can carry five people and loads of luggage. It aims to be the best choice for working people who like to travel with a lot of equipment.
The luggage space is much larger than in the case of the outgoing model. The Ford E-Tourneo Courier has a capacity of 570 liters in a 5-seat configuration, or 2,162 liters with the bench folded down, measuring up to the roof.
An additional advantage of the fully electric version is the trunk of 44 liters under the hood, the so-called “frunk”. In addition, there are many storage compartments inside the car.
A 12-inch SYNC 4 infotainment screen sits in the center of the dashboard. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly.
The Ford E-Tourneo Courier is powered by a 136 hp electric motor. Unfortunately, we do not know the capacity of the batteries placed on the floor or the advertised range.
We only know that the batteries can be charged with a power of up to 100 kW. In ideal conditions, plugging the car into electricity for 10 minutes ensures the possibility of driving another 87 km.
Unfortunately, we still have to wait a long time for the Ford E-Tourneo Courier. The electric version of this car will not enter the market until the end of 2024.
Initially, in the summer/autumn of 2023, the diesel Ford Tourneo Courier will appear in showrooms. Under its hood we find a 1.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine with a capacity of 125 horsepower.

It will be available with a 6-speed gearbox and a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Customers will be able to choose from three trim levels: Active, Titanium and Trend.
