VIDEO: Ford Fiesta ST with five cylinders 1,000 hp

The Ford Fiesta ST of the fifth generation received the hot package of the time: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with sixteen valves that produces 150 hp. Without a turbo, in a car that is very light. The owner of this Fiesta was probably jealous of the fact that the Ford Focus ST and RS had a turbo engine. That’s why he took the five-cylinder from the RS and put it in his Fiesta ST.

The engine, which is originally from Volvo, is a 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder. Normally the Ford Focus RS has about 300 hp, but the owner of the Ford Fiesta in the video below has more than tripled this to 1,000 hp. The engine is no longer available in width, but in length under the hood. This leaves room for the gearbox which also has a drive shaft for the rear wheels. So the Fiesta has four-wheel drive.

Group B screams as the Ford Fiesta takes off

A compact hatchback with a five-cylinder turbo in the nose, which reminds us of the Audi Sport Quattro. This dominated group B rallies in the 1980s. If you listen to the video with your eyes closed, you can hear the similarities. The owner of this car drives meetings with it, but it doesn’t always go well. That is somewhat expected for the Ford Fiesta which weighs only 1,000 kg and has 1,000 hp. Watch the video below.
