Special for the double victory of Ford Pro – HUSS-VERLAG, electromobility (e-mobility) | News | LOGISTRA

On the occasion of the double victory of Ford Pro 2024 in the “International Van of the Year” by the Ford Transit Custom and the “International Pick-up Award” by the Ford Ranger, HUSS-VERLAG has dedicated a special issue to the two winners. The add-on not only offers products and their technical information, but also the complete Ford Pro ecosystem including FordLive’s real-time maintenance services. In addition to services, this includes a high level of connectivity, telematics and consulting, especially around ship electronics.

“We help commercial customers increase ship time and make their business more productive,” explains Dr. Christian Weingärtner, Managing Director of Marketing and Sales at Ford-Werke GmbH and Managing Director of Ford DACH.

Electrification of commercial vehicle fleets as a topic

The special issue explains what innovations the vehicles were able to convince an international jury of commercial vehicle journalists from European publications, including the German representative LOGISTRA from HUSS-VERLAG. The addition also provides a glimpse into the future with more electrification plans that go beyond the E-Transit Custom that can already be ordered, for example with the plug-in hybrid version of the Ranger. Claudia Vogt, Director of Ford Pro DACH, promotes the electrification of the commercial vehicle fleet. From their point of view, the switch is already worth it today, due to the low costs of maintenance and use. The manufacturer wants to accompany the changes with detailed “support” – with persuasive products, for example with its payment service or ship simulation that companies can use to find out if the changes are already appropriate in specific cases. The entire fleet should be electric by 2035.

“We see this incredible double win as a reward for our entire Ford Pro team and as a confirmation of our good work,” says Vogt happily.

High value added usage

HUSS-VERLAGS managing director Rainer Langhammer pointed out the high value of using supplements, which complement the content of the main books in a meaningful and consistent way.

“Light commercial vehicles play an important role in the transformation of transportation because they take many trips every day and provide many services that are important for the functioning of the national economy. The potential that can be provided by modern vans in terms of weather protection is greater. We also want to focus on this with our addition to two innovative vehicles,” emphasizes Langhammer.

Addendum appears in HUSS-VERLAG LOGITRA publications, VISION travel and mobility.
