More than 40,000 Ford vehicles are being recalled for possible fuel leaks – Deseret News

Ford Motor Company has issued a recall affecting nearly 43,000 SUVs.

According to The Associated Presssome of the company’s 2022 Escape SUV and 2022 and 2023 Bronco Sport SUVs are being recalled because of concerns about their fuel burners.

“Ford says inside documents submitted by US security regulators that fuel injectors may rupture, and gasoline or vapor may accumulate near ignition sources, possibly extinguishing the fire,†The Associated Press reported.

How Ford handles the issue
