There are mass market automakers like Toyota and Ford – we talk about them all the time. There are also high-end and luxury car manufacturers such as BMW or Aston Martin – and we always discuss them. But then there are exotics – and we always feel that we say too few things about them.

On the other hand, Koenigsegg is an example of high-end exotics: we discuss them in relation to a series of super limited cars and whenever there is a new mind-bending speed record waiting to be broken, for example. Still, we don’t talk about them as much as we’d like. Hey, but it turns out we’re not the only ones. In fact, even the vast and abstract realm of digital automotive content creators doesn’t touch the subject of Koenigsegg very often, to be honest.

No worries, though, as one resident in the parallel world of automotive CGI has recently decided to address the issue online. Ghast, the mysterious internet artist better known as loveghvst on social networks, has continued to develop a true exotic masterpiece, the Koenigsegg CC850 – and came up with not one, not two, not three, but four digital ideas based on a small mid-engined sports car.

Launched in the summer of 2022 in Pebble Beach, California, this is Koenigsegg’s tribute to the CC8S launched to celebrate two decades since the start of original production but also to mark the 50th anniversary of company founder Christian von Koenigsegg. Due to popular demand from one percent, the initial production run planned for 50 models has been replaced by another 20 units.

Of course, each one will be unique, as is traditional with high-end exotics. But if 70 customers run out of ideas, this CGI expert has a quarter of the Koenigsegg CC850 vision. It all started about a month ago, at the end of February, with the concept Koenigsegg CC850 KNC – which is short for Koenigsegg Naked Carbon. No need to explain this $443k option, right?

Second, the CC850 R features a Bright Orange body that appears as a throwback to the original CCX, and is mixed with bare carbon fiber and a Pale White leather interior to ensure that contrast is extreme. So are the abstract weight-saving tricks, and while there’s no engine upgrade, the mass has been tweaked to “achieve that 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (1385hp-1385kg).”

Third, the Koenigsegg CC850 RS is inspired by the mind-boggling Agera RS, of course, and even the author says he’s afraid of what this hypercar could do if it were real. Metallic Red Magenta with Gloss White is a personal choice in terms of color, but the engine has been upgraded to more than 1,500 horsepower to make it ‘severe.’

Last but not least, the fourth (but not the last) build to date is the Koenigsegg CC850 RS-J – again inspired by the Agera. It packs a CC850 engine tuned to 1,850 hp, a Jesko-inspired suspension, One:1 wheels, and the community-voted Grey/Silver with Koenigsegg Orange color combination. By the way, more designs are coming, and the author will convert these design projects into Assetto Corsa mods! Cool, right?
