Mitsubishi Chemical Europe acquires all of CPC Srl


Associated law firm Shearman & Sterling and Legance assisted Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation in the transaction.

Mitsubishi Chemical Europe (MCE), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (production of chemical components, plastic materials, coating materials, synthetics, textile fibers and carbon) has completed the acquisition of 100% shares in CPC Srl.

CPC operates in the carbon fiber industry and operates in the manufacturing and processing of carbon fiber material plants for the automotive industry, from the design phase to delivery and installation on vehicles.

For Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, the acquisition represents a strategic step in the implementation and consolidation of its global growth strategy.
