The 919 Snowcat stands out with its red tracks and raised stance, and visual cues, giving it an attractive sporty look. This car was designed by Ferdinand Porsche and presented at the Mankei 2023 event, in honor of the famous restaurant located on the Glockner Alpine pass. The Porsche family has a special connection with this place, as Ferry Porsche used to test the cooling systems of new cars along the winding roads leading to it.

“My grandfather tested the cars by driving them from Gmünd to the Glockner Pass, in front of the restaurant.“, he said Ferdinand Porsche. “Since the pass is closed six months a year due to weather, we built a car to allow Christina, the restaurant manager, to get to the place.”, added Ferdinand jokingly.
