New 2025 Buick Enclave Lines Up With New Turbo Engine, Hands-Free Super Cruise ADAS


Buick unveiled the Enclave three-row SUV, which is expected to begin shipping later this summer as a 2025 model. The third-generation Enclave adopts the new design language previewed by the Wildcat EV concept and will feature a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Larger inside and out, the all-new Enclave features an upgraded technology package, including the Super Cruise touchless driver assistance package.

Buick launched the third generation of its flagship SUV Enclave, featuring new design values ​​that debuted with the Wildcat EV concept in 2022. The launch of the all-new Enclave marks Buick’s complete overhaul. ICE series, which has often been criticized for being out of step with the times. The new model will feature a new turbo engine and technology package that will once again place it at the forefront of GM’s lineup.

The new design is longer, wider, and taller than the second-generation Enclave, allowing Buick to offer more comfort and safety. Everything is new, starting with the updated grille, front fascia, and Tri-Shield badge. The Buick Enclave shares technical bits with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia, both of which were updated last year. It’s arguably the most luxurious of the three, though it’s just shy of the full-on luxury Cadillac.

The all-new Enclave debuts a floating center console with a 30-inch wide display, which Buick claims is the largest in its class. The infotainment system is powered by Google’s Android Automotive, allowing access to native Android apps and many car functions. Using the touchscreen or Google Assistant, drivers can respond to messages, get directions through Google Maps and control select features. The Buick Enclave also has wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, functionality that GM electric vehicle owners will miss.

The 2025 Enclave is the first Buick to feature Super Cruise, GM’s advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) Buick describes the Super Cruise as “a truly hands-free system” which will operate on approximately 750,000 road miles until 2025. The ADAS package includes Driver Attention Assist and Enhanced Automatic Park Assist. The top Avenir also includes a rearview camera mirror as part of the available Super Cruise package.

All Enclave trims come standard with a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive available to order. The Enclave is compact and has a maximum capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. (2,268 kg).

The 2025 Buick Enclave will be offered in three trims: Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir. Standard equipment includes ambient lighting, a power-sensing automatic lift, and heated front seats with four-point lumbar support. The Sport Touring adds unique badges and trim, while the top Avenir offers a comprehensive package of comfort and performance.

This includes damping fluids, a sunroof, ventilated front seats with a massage function, and heated second-row outboard seats. As part of the Power Package, the Enclave Avenir also comes with a Head-Up Display, one-touch folding second-row seats, and power-folding third-row seats. Order books will open later this summer, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from Lansing Delta Town Meeting in Michigan around the same time.
