Hedelius introduces Acura 85 – MetaalNieuws, the latest news from the Metal industry

The presentation of the new Acura 85 is the highlight of the Hedelius home show in Meppen (D) on 8 and 9 November. This machining center is the big brother of the 5-axis Acura 65 with a double-bearing rotary table and a moving column with a large reach.

Acura 85 (width (XxYxZ): 900x850x700 mm) is also compact and suitable for fast, flexible and yet accurate production. The rotating table can be loaded from both sides. The tool magazine offers space for 80 tools and is accessible from the front without interrupting machining. With an additional magazine, the number of tools can be extended by 190. As an option, simultaneous 5-axis milling is also possible.

Live under time
In total, Hedelius shows more than ten machines with different manufacturing processes live under the chip. In addition, more than thirty co-exhibitors with CAM software, tooling, clamping equipment, control technology and automation technology will be present at the indoor exhibition. Hedelius and his partners also give various lectures on current topics in machining.

A machine that can also be seen live is the Forte 65 Single 1320. It has Acura technology, but it is a 3-axis printing station. Despite the compact external dimensions, this machine can process 2 ton pallets up to 1320x650x600 mm. At home shows, this machine can be seen with a large tool changer.

Hedelius also offers factory tours. Last time, the presentation of the Tiltenta 9 rotating head machine was the highlight of the tours. Also at this time Tiltenta 9-2600 can be viewed. The powerful T9 series can be used for a variety of machining tasks, for example in machine building, tool and mold construction and the aerospace industry. The large working area of the T9-2600 (up to (XxYxZ): 4600x900x900 mm) and the main pivoting spindle allows vertical machining of long jobs up to 5000 kg. Hedelius is located in Meppen, just outside the border near Emmen. The German machine manufacturer is represented in the Netherlands by Prom.
