Denis Hertrampf’s Victory Team is involved in IDM Sportbike and IDM Supersport. Lothar Kraus has taken over technical management again and a new team manager, Rob Vennegoor, is coming.
The German Victory Racing Team already has three confirmed riders for the new IDM Sportbike category: Dane Oliver Svendsen, Swiss Fabio Sarasino and Swede Anton Södergren. Spaniard Inigo Iglesias will participate
Supersport starts with a team from Northern Germany. Now team owner Denis Hertrampf and Dutchman Rob Vennegoor have agreed on a long-term partnership. The pair should of course also keep one eye on the World Championships, where the new sportbike standard will not replace the top sport category until next year.
Vennegoor had been involved in IDM and his team for many years and had his World Cup team until the end of the 2024 season. After parting ways with his long-time business partner Frank Krekeler, the Dutchman has now found a new home in Team Hertrampf. “Rob and I have been like-minded people in motorsport for a very long time,” assures Denis Hertrampf. “I followed his activities in motorsport with great respect. He always gives 100% and is a very nice and reliable person. We met at the beginning of December and I explained to him our future plans in the sport. Rob will take over the management of the team from January 2025. He will take care of the issues all of the running on the racetrack and the organization needed between the races. “So we are in a good position to expand the sports activities in 2026.”
“With Lothar and Denis, I have two partners who know their craft,” Vennegoor is convinced. “There are clear goals and they are in line with my vision for the future project. Early in 2025, we will expand our team of mechanics and train them in the IDM area to have a good position for 2026. If you want to develop yourself as a racing mechanic, it is a player of the team and are ready to travel, you are welcome to send me your request.”
Lothar Kraus has been part of the project as technical manager since 2022. “I am very happy to do it,” said Kraus. “Denis and I are a great team and we have high standards for the project and its goals. One thing is to further develop the technology for our drivers and our customer teams and get better results and for Victory. This applies to both classes. Sportbike and The sportbike class in IDM will be the basis for our young riders from 2025. The plan for 2026 is to have a team in the sportbike class with IDM work with Triumph to establish a training course for young drivers.
