A high-velocity chase on I-75 in Dayton, Ohio, that caused a crash and injured three people came to an abrupt conclusion late Tuesday night, according to WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio.
The pursuit began when police received reports of an alleged motor vehicle violation in the area, said WHIO TV 7 & WHIO Radio. The chase, which reached speeds of up to 90 mph, ensued along I-75 between Dayton and Miamisburg.
The pursuit came to an abrupt end when the vehicle involved struck another vehicle and crashed near the Austin Road exit in Dayton. The driver of the car that was struck was transported to an area hospital with an unknown extent of their injuries, WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio reported. The two occupants of the vehicle involved in the pursuit were also taken to a hospital with undetermined injuries.
