SUVs are considered multi-purpose vehicles that can be used in a variety of situations. This opinion is confirmed by the Citroen C5 Aircross, which has many versions – their most common denomination is a hybrid.

It received not only an electric unit that reduces fuel consumption, but also a dual-clutch gearbox – significantly improving driving comfort. The hybrid technology also shortened the time to start the engine after the system started to shut down and made the process more stable.

The battery of the weakest version has a capacity of 12.4 kWh and provides a range of up to 58 km (according to WLTP), and the most powerful – 14.2 kWh, which can be enough to reach 64 km (WLTP).

In the C5 Aircross model range, Citroen has kept the basic version with a 1.2 PureTech petrol engine with 131 HP and a manual gearbox. Not only because of the best price (from PLN 141,850). Manual transmissions are an interesting addition to today’s computerized cars, giving the driver a sense of greater connection with the car. It is also worth adding that it is the lightest version in the range (from 1,406 kg), has the highest trailer towing capacity (up to 1,350 kg) and – apart from the powerful plug-in hybrids – accelerates more efficiently from 0 to 100 km . /h (in 10.5 s).

After choosing the engine variant, you need to choose the equipment level – You!, Plus or Max. I’m glad that, contrary to the current trend, Citroen did not try to forcefully combine engines and equipment.
