Ittre: Ford GT 40 and world champion motorcycles, Sunday, at the historic Race of Ascent and Descent

Jean Gascard, organizer: “If you appreciate motor sports and if you have a passion for old cars, you cannot miss this event. The goal is to get sports cars out of the museum to see them running. However, we are limiting the registration of 60 cars, cars, motorcycles and sidecars , over 30 years old or unique. We prefer new cars to change fields of participants from year to year. So it’s a great opportunity to (re)discover legendary cars in action, but without competition: “There is no race or time, but that does not prevent some drivers from being a little heavier than the left, especially when leaving near the municipal hall of the GSC SA workshops.”

Tray? “Currently we have 45 vehicles registered out of 50 available spaces, added Jean Gascard a few days ago. We also have several motorcycles and three sidecars. In addition we have, as usual, a group of happy people with scooters and mopeds who bring a little story … “

Among these sixty cars, some will surely attract the attention of lovers. The editor lifts the curtain a little on these unique machines: “We will have, among others, a Rambler that has won many 400m drag races. We will also have a Peugeot THP spider, a Ford GT40, a Ford single seater, some great rally cars as well as a few MGs or even Lotus On the motorcycle side, we will welcome two unique machines from the Marc VDS Racing Team One was the Moto2 world champion in 2019 and the other was the one ridden by Tony Arbolino last year.

And as always, beautiful mechanics also have big hearts, so all proceeds from the event will be donated to Kiwanis and Viva for Life.
