Next to Indiana Jones, Han Solo is Harrison Ford’s second star role, and like a whip-wielding archaeologist, the 81-year-old has returned to the “Star Wars” character again and again throughout his career. Not only did he play the smuggler and Chewbacca’s sidekick in all three parts of the original trilogy, which was created between 1977 and 1983, he also appeared as Han Solo in “Star Wars: Episode 7 – The Force Awakens”.

And although he – spoiler alert! – died at the end of the late series, appeared in the finale of the trilogy “The Rise of Skywalker“convincing. This is exactly what has been causing heated debates among fans of popular science fiction for five years.

In the ninth episode of the “Star Wars” movie, the scene between Han Solo and his son Kylo Ren, who has gone to the dark side, is repeated – with a different ending (Driver Adam), which ended with the death of Harrison Ford’s character in “The Force Awakens”. But what exactly is the coming of a dead character? Is he a spirit called a force (in the “Star Wars” universe, this is the name given to people who can live as ghosts even after their physical death)? Or a projection created by Princess Leia?

If you want to know more, you should ask Harrison Ford. Because he participated in the interview USA Today It is very clear that nothing interests him less. “The ghost of power? “I don’t know what a Force Spirit is,” said the “Blade Runner” star. “Don’t tell anyone. (…) But I don’t really know what the spirit of Power is. And I don’t care.”

This view fits well with the fact that Ford has made no secret in the past that he has nothing to do with the character of Han Solo, although he played him in four films and is largely responsible for his fame. He even advocated for George Lucas to have Han Solo’s death on film at the end of the very first “Star Wars” film – but to the relief of many fans, to no avail!
