The limited edition Hyundai i30 N Drive-N features new stylish touches, such as dark brown forged aluminum wheels, unique badges and special floor mats. This is not the end of the story.
Hyundai Motor presents the i30 N Drive-N, an exclusive, special edition of the high-performance models Hyundai i30 N and Hyundai i30 Fastback N. The plan is to build a limited number of cars – 620 units are reserved for Hyundai Motor Europe and the remaining 180 units will go to Hyundai Motor Company Australia.
The car is offered in two body colors – Phantom Black Pearl and the new Serenity White Pearl. The limited I30 N Drive-N is also available with an automatic transmission or Hyundai’s eight-speed N DCT transmission. The i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition comes with the Performance Package as standard. The engine produces 280 HP of power.
As with the new i30 N, the N DCT i30 N Drive-N version offers the driver three functions: N Power Shift, N Grin Shift and N Track Sense Shift. By using the N Grin Shift (NGS) button, the vehicle will “boost” an additional 10 HP for 20 seconds.
The bodywork is wrapped in 19-inch forged alloy wheels with a brown matte finish; black Hyundai logos; special veneers on the side, front and back of the car; two Drive-N logos in dark brown on the fenders. The Drive-N badges also include the GPS coordinates of the N design headquarters, Hyundai Motor Europe’s test facility at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.
Inside each unit there is a unique plate with a number indicating its number from a limited number of 800 units. In the interior, instead of leather, Alcantara with red stitching is used to cover the steering wheel, gear lever, armrest and handbrake. All interior accents are red. This applies to the front and rear seat belts, the N buttons on the steering wheel, and the new design of the N Light seat inserts and seams.
Apart from the safety systems that come standard on the i30 N, the manual transmission version of the i30 N Drive-N also comes with Blind Spot Monitor (BCW) and Cross Traffic Alert (RCCW) systems. On the other hand, models with N DCT transmission also offer Blind Spot Assist (BCA) and Cross Traffic Alert Assist (RCCA). For more comfort and convenience, N-enthusiast drivers can also benefit from a heated steering wheel, a large 10.25-inch touchscreen and a wireless charger.
The Hyundai i30 N Drive-N will be offered in select markets. In Poland, the limited edition will not be available.
