I was at the opening of the Bugatti showroom in Poland. I saw a hypercar for about 27.5 million PLN!

However, the center of automotive luxury is in Silesia. In July 2022, it was announced that the official dealer and importer of Bugatti cars would work in Poland, and the showroom will be ready at the end of May this year. The first model that can be admired in it is the Bugatti W16 Mistral worth at least 5 million EUR (including 23% VAT). The final price depends on the configuration, ie the buyer’s imagination.

Mistral has had its Polish premiere, but all 99 planned copies have long been sold out. Deliveries to customers should begin in 2024, all made at the factory (Bugatti calls the dealer) in Molsheim near Strasbourg.

The managing director and owner, Jakub Pietrzak, assures that there will be many buyers of these cars. It counts not only on the domestic market, but also in the Baltic and Balkan states. He revealed that in the near future, several Bugatti Chirons in the two top versions Pur Sport and Super Sport, as well as the Mistral, will hit the Polish streets. Maybe not even one, such information is not a secret, but it is revealed with reluctance.

The Bugatti W16 Mistral ends an era

The Mistral road, which took its name from the strong winds that blow in the south of France, has an extra flavor – it ends the era of powerful 16-cylinder engines in road-legal models. They have been used since 2005, i.e. since the beginning of the Veyron 16.4 model, which revived the Bugatti brand. The heart of the Mistral is a new unit from the Chiron (specifically from the Super Sport 300+ version), on which this car is based. It has a capacity of 8 liters, of course 16 cylinders arranged in the shape of the letter “W” and is also supported by 4 turbochargers. The maximum power is 1600 hp and the maximum torque is 1600 Nm. Yes, it’s not a mistake. 1600 hp and 1600 Nm. The car can be accelerated to a speed of 420 km / h! This is one of the fastest roads in the world.

Opening of the Bugatti showroom in Katowice

Many of the world’s most prestigious brand stores are slowly becoming a tourist attraction in Katowice. The doors of the Bugatti showroom will also be open, so that everyone can visit it, even just to take a photo with their dream supercar. It is also a meeting place, as the Italian restaurant La Squadra is under one roof.

In the end, Jakub Pietrzak surprisingly told me that this is not the end of the surprise. We can expect something very big to be announced later this year.
