Ice Speedway Supercup: Breakfast of the season in Sweden / Ice Road



Instead of the ice team competition, the individual Supercup will be held in Sweden this year. Four German-speaking racing drivers will also be present.

The Swedish Supercup will be held with international participation 16 drivers from five clubs have been nominated for the opening race in Östersund on January 4. There, as well as in the next race in Strömsund, Luca Bauer and Maximilian Niedermaier will start for Jämtslands MK, Franky Zorn was nominated together with Max Niedermaier from MC Strömsund. Niclas Svensson will return to Östersund after the Swede missed the entire 2024 season following a training accident.

Three Supercup races will be held on the first weekend in January, along with the Epiphany event. For the January 6 event, Maximilian Niedermaier is currently moving to the reserve position, as Swede Filip Jäger is scheduled to drive instead. Races 4 and 5 of the Supercup will take place on January 18 in Gävle and January 19 in Bollnäs.
