Police are investigating two men who are said to be racing illegally on the A 81. The 29- and 31-year-olds were on the road on Monday, attracting attention with their notorious and sometimes dangerous driving style. . Around 6:30 p.m., witnesses reported a Maserati Gran Turismo and an Audi RS 5 repeatedly overtaking other road users on the right and each other between the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and Feuerbach intersections. Shortly before the Feuerbach junction, both initially slowed down on the hard shoulder and then accelerated again. Both then left the road and headed for Ditzingen.

Eventually the police were able to stop both vehicles and check on the two drivers. During further investigation, the officers seized the driver’s licenses, their mobile phones and a karambit knife found in the Audi. The investigation is ongoing.
