Bio Enzyme Fertilizer Making Training for several people at Jalan Raya Ampang, Kuranji, Padang, West Sumatra.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PADANG — Considering the increasing number of household waste donations in Padang, West Sumatra. Ganjar Millenium Center together with waste bank social activists conducted Enzyme Compost Production Training for several people in Jalan Raya Ampang, Kuranji, Padang, West Sumatra.
Quoted from Antara News Agency, On Monday (2/10/2023), social activist, Nora Fitriawati (44 years old) assessed that this activity was very important for reducing household waste and could be used for household needs.
“This is very important, especially since it can be used to meet domestic needs, such as cleaning floors and clothes, washing dishes, toilets and mirrors. This can be used by all groups,” said Nora, as quoted on Monday 10/2023).
In addition to household use, this biological enzyme is also believed to fertilize plants and herbs to get better fruits from the harvest.
“As an organic fertilizer, of course this can also be used for crops and plants,” continued Nora.
In addition to household use, other benefits can be business opportunities, but they must go through several procedures and steps to be ready for sale.
“The potential of the business is there, it must first go through several processes before being sold because this is organic, so the procedures must be done more carefully, the important thing is that we socialize it at the household level first,” said Nora.
Nora hopes that through the activities carried out by the Ganjar Millennium Centre, people can increase their interest and concern for waste itself. Because if processed, waste can be a blessing.
“The spirit is that we should take care of our dirt, even if it’s a little to reduce the accumulation of waste, if it is done by many people it will definitely end up piling up in the landfill,” said Nora.
