The 2025 Buick Enclave is loaded with technology features, with hands-free driving

The 2025 Buick Enclave will offer a new look, better fuel economy and features including hands-free highway driving and a 30-inch display when it goes on sale later this summer.

Buick said the three-row family SUV will be longer, longer, wider and will have more interior space but declined to provide specifications for those measures. The 2025 Enclave will go on sale in late summer. It competes with SUVs like Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, Toyota Grand Highlander, VW Atlas.

Long V6, hello, Super Cruise

The Enclave will drop its 3.6L V6 engine for a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder that produces more power and uses less fuel.

The new engine produces 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both front and all-wheel drive will be available.

Fuel economy and price figures should be announced soon.

The 2025 Enclave also gets automatic parking and Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free highway driving system for nearly 750,000 road miles in the United States and Canada. Super Cruise can now automatically change lanes to pass slower vehicles.

New design, interactive lights

Every exterior panel but the doors is new, along with new headlights and taillights. The 2025 Enclave’s grille and front styling borrow from the brand’s Wildcat concept car, which also influenced the styling of the Envista small SUV.

Avenir’s LED lights have a walk-up animation when the key fob is near.

The tailgate also senses the aperture, opening and closing automatically.

The camera offers seven or nine views, including 360 degrees and one for recording.

All Enclaves can tow 1,500 pounds. An option package increases that to 5,000.

Bose standard, ‘floating’ center console

The 30-inch glass panel with instrument cluster and touch screen is curved towards the driver for visibility and access.

Moving the shifter to the steering column freed up more space in the center console for storage, cup holders, wireless charging and a power and audio dial. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.

The Preferred and ST models come with a Bose audio system with 12 speakers. The Avenir gets 16 speakers. Top of the line Avenirs now account for 27% of Enclave sales.

The center console between the front seats is not attached to the dashboard for what Buick calls a “floating” effect.
