Infiniti reveals details on the 2025 QX80 ahead of its launch


L’Infiniti QX80 the current generation has been on the road for 14 years. This generation was launched in 2010, it has changed little in style in recent years without experiencing any major changes. Now the manufacturer is preparing to update the model in 2025 and is revealing details ahead of its soon-to-be-scheduled release.

Infiniti engineers note that variable grille shutters have been fitted to improve the car’s traction in certain conditions. Mr. Espinoza added that the F-Alpha platform on which the 2025 QX80 is based, also used under the Nissan Frontier, allows the behemoth to have 57 and 25% rigidity and torsional stiffness, respectively.

In terms of driving, the manufacturer claims that the 2025 QX80 will be more comfortable than before thanks to the new electronic air suspension and active dampers. Some details are also revealed about the interior of the car. No hybrid or electric options have been revealed by the company, which suggests that the QX80 will only be offered in petrol configuration. The 2025 QX80 is expected to be officially presented at the end of March at the New York Auto Show.
