The Rolls Royce of e-bikes in Haren – Haren de Krant

Since this month, the famous Groningen bike shop Klei is located in Haren. Eelco and Dina have settled in Anjerplein and bring great products. “We’ve made a choice and we’re really focusing on Flyer e-Bikes,” he says.

Eelco is the first to admit that Flyer e-Bikes are not cheap, but that is easily explained. Eelco: “If you rock any bike, you often notice that there is a lot of movement in the frame. Not with the Flyer. The frame is stiff and strong. Plus, only the best materials are used in this bike. It’s real Swiss class.” A customer from Assen walks into the store and confirms the story. “Everything is beautiful and powerful and she always does. That’s why I chose this brand.” Eelco is not surprised by this reputation. He and Dina fully support the brand. “There are two stores in the Netherlands that focus entirely on Flyer and we are one of them.”

In Groningen we had to leave because the municipality needed the building for the renovation of the neighborhood near the train station. “We have customers from the wider Groningen area and also many in Haren,” says Eelco. “We didn’t want to go to a store in the center of Groningen, so when we discovered Anjerplein in Haren, it seemed like the perfect place.” The couple hesitated for a few months, but took the big step in early September. The park is huge; The workshop is clean and efficient. Eelco and Dina are already busy, but they think they can get more Haren residents excited in the near future. “This is the Rolls Royce of e-Bikes,” he laughs.
