Convertible meeting 2024 in Wirges: BMW 3 Series E30 convertible fans gather in Westerwald

BMW 3 Series E30 convertible fans Dirk Kaltenbach and Michael Skomorowski are organizing a meeting of this cult convertible again this year. After the initial success in 2022/2023 with around 30 cars, the meeting will take place again this year on Sunday, May 12, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at the “Neue Mitte” location in Wirges.

Waves. Registration for this meeting and the subsequent tour through the Westerwald is possible until Sunday, May 7. Staying in the “Neue Mitte” meeting area is linked to a small lottery for participating vehicles. For organizational reasons, a maximum of 50 vehicles and 75 participants are allowed to come to Wirges. The purpose of the long tour of about 70 kilometers will be the gastronomy of the Marienstatt Monastery, where all cars can park on the premises.

Michael Skomorowski, who also drives a BMW E30 convertible, started planning another rally this year. Oliver Axel and his wife Petra are here to help. In addition, friends of the former fair company NDH Wirges also help: Anja Hirsch, Tanja Lesser and Martin Heibel. The organizers would like to thank the property manager of the “Neue Mitte”, Bernd Saas, who has made another meeting possible in 2024 with his dedication to the site.
