Since this year, German motorcycling fans have had to accept that linear TV is no longer a reliable option for live coverage of their favorite sport. Because at the end of 2023, ServusTV withdrew from Germany and since then it has only been shown in Austria and Switzerland. And Eurosport has only offered regular programming on its two channels for several years. Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 are not broadcasting anything live from the upcoming meeting in Assen.

Superbike fans can no longer avoid modern technologies such as streaming systems and IP TV.

The streaming service is free News TV On, which will remain with the German audience. The required software can be easily installed on any modern television and can also be viewed through a browser on desktop computers, notebooks, tablets and smartphones. ServusTV On will broadcast all races and qualifying sessions for the World Superbike Championship and its support classes Supersport and Supersport 300 live, free of charge and in HD in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The special interest channel ServusTV Motorsport has existed since June 2021 and is broadcast exclusively in Germany via Telekom. According to the program list from April 15, the themed channel can be found on channel 53, but it is not included in the basic tariff of Magenta TV. The main race in the Superbike category was broadcast live this year, as before, on ServusTV Germany.

Eurosport also offers a digital platform through Eurosport Player to receive the World Superbike Championship on various devices. A monthly pass costs 3.99 euros or 39.99 euros as an annual subscription. The advantage of the channel owned by Discovery will be that not only the World Cup, which is related to the series, but also all the sports that are part of the portfolio are included.

A subscription of 69.90 euros gives you access to all content for 2024 and up to the first race of 2025. The video pass not only allows ad-free access to all sessions of all classes on the race weekend, it also includes off-screen.
