The flagship model iPhone 14 mini will disappear from Apple’s lineup in 2022 – four smartphones with large screens will be released. Not surprising, as sales of the compact variant were very poor.
A series of smartphones iPhone 14 it will be the first from 2020 that the mini model will be missing. After two years of poor sales of the best variant, Apple abandons this unsuccessful idea.
The iPhone 14 mini will never go on sale
As it turns out, the 5.4-inch smartphone in the thirteenth series was doing very poorly. The smartphone had the smallest share in the sales of all models, which was only 3% of all sales iPhones in the US.
However, according to the CIRP report, all models of the iPhone 13 series were at the same time 71% of sales iPhones in the United States, including the basic model as 38%. It is not surprising that the big man decided to leave the smallest example.
Interestingly, many users have been saying for years that they are concerned about the size of a compact smartphone – apparently this does not apply to iPhone users. Or maybe it’s the 6.1-inch screen of the iPhone’s base model that is the best?
One thing is certain – the compact flagship will not debut this year. However, it is very likely that Apple will decide to introduce another iPhone SE model with a screen smaller than 6 inches. These devices enjoyed a lot of interest – but mainly because of their affordable price.
In the summer, the iPhone 14 series will present four new types of smartphones. This is the regular iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and also the iPhone 14 Pro Max with better accessories. You can read more about their specifications in the following entry:
