BYD is working on taking a picture that will start in international markets later this year and aims entering competition with Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger models. The Chinese automaker has released more details about this model, also sharing new photos of the models, which are still under wraps, during some testing sessions. The new image will initially be released in the plug-in hybrid version but the BEV variant should also arrive later.

Take a new one it will be 5,457 mm long and 1,971 mm wide. The wheelbase is 3,260 mm. Therefore, it will have larger dimensions than the Ford Ranger. In addition, it will be able to rely on all the latest technological solutions developed by the Chinese car manufacturer, including the Car charging function that will allow external electrical devices to be activated using the energy contained in the traction battery.

For this new model, BYD will use the platform Two Way Off-road (DMO) Super Hybrid Platform.
