Romain Grosjean finishes 7th in the 12 Hours of Sebring won by Acura

There was more fighting and fun during the 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday, and at the end of the final battle between Cadillac and Acura, it was finally the #40 ARX-06 of Wayne Taylor Racing, driven by Louis Delétraz, Jordan. Taylor and Colton Herta won. But he finished just 89 hundredths ahead of the Series V. R n°1 of Sébastien Bourdais and teammates Roger van der Zande and Scott Dixon, who was leading at the start of the previous hour.

A new neutral and a restart 25 minutes after the finish mixed up the cards, and it was 8 minutes from the end of the race that the Swiss got the advantage over the Frenchman. The Porsche 963, owned by 24 Hours of Daytona winners Matt Campbell, Dane Cameron and Felipe Nasr, completes the podium.

As for Romain Grosjean, he succeeded in his challenge to see the end of the race without incident. With teammates Matteo Cairoli and Andrea Caldarelli, his Lamborghini SC63 finished in 7th place.

The race was highlighted by the spectacular, but fortunately not fatal, crash of Pipo Derani, while leading the race in the No. 31 Cadillac. The Brazilian hit a Ferrari 296 GT3 and ended up in the tire wall.
