Italy: Warning warning in airports and low-cost airlines – Economy & Volkswagen – News

Due to the planned work stoppage at Italian airports, travelers should be prepared for delays and cancellations of many flights on Sunday.

Several unions have called on air traffic control workers Enav and low-cost airlines Ryanair, Easyjet and Volotea to strike with a four-hour warning, according to union federations. Therefore, the reason is the dispute over the rights of the worker, the working environment and the payment of the minimum wage in the sector.

Due to the nationwide strike, Easyjet canceled the Milan Linate Airport connection to Berlin or the one from Rome-Fiumicino to Amsterdam. Ryanair said it had to cancel flights because of the Enav strike. Passengers have already been informed. According to Enav, the walk will last from two in the morning to six in the evening. Flights between 7:00 am and 10:00 am and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm are not affected.
