The Jaguar XJR-9 LM took first place in the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans, completing exactly 394 laps of the Circuit de la Sarthe. Today, the brand has decided to pay tribute to the winning car by creating a limited edition model, which is the pinnacle of Jaguar’s sports SUVs. This is how the unique Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 was born, created by the customization experts at SV Bespoke. Only 394 copies will be available worldwide, including 8 in Poland.

Unique in every detail

The 1988 Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition is a unique car in every detail, drawing on Jaguar’s racing heritage. Its emotional specification includes Midnight Amethyst Gloss paint, 22-inch forged aluminum wheels and Sunset Gold Satin interior and exterior finishes. It is all completed by the inscription “One of 394”, made by SV Bespoke and bore marks, confirming the exclusivity of the cars from this edition.

Delighted at first glance

Jaguar’s limited edition combines refined design with eye-catching, unique details. The highlight is the exclusive Midnight Amethyst Gloss color – a new color that will be offered to buyers of the 1988 F-PACE SVR Edition. . 1988 is inspired by Jaguar’s legendary long-distance racing cars. – Midnight Amethyst Gloss appears black until its amethyst shade reveals itself in sunlight, enhancing the exterior appearance of the SVR. To achieve the stunning finish of High Metallic Gloss, we evaluated over 40 variations to create the desired depth of color – comments Richard Woolley.

The uniqueness of the 1988 Edition is also in the details. Like the Jaguar logo and tailgate lettering in Sunset Gold Satin finish. A laser etched 1988 Edition logo is located on each front panel of the fender. In addition to the Black package features – black exterior finishes – the 1988 Edition also includes Gloss Black finishes on the door mirror caps, brake calipers, wheel trim and the letter R on the SVR badge.

The F-PACE SVR’s refined and luxurious interior is also enhanced with carbon fiber trim. The 1988 version features Ebony semi-aniline leather upholstery and unique Sunset Gold Satin detailing on the dashboard. The same decoration can be found on the steering wheel spokes, shift paddles and Performance hot and ventilated front bucket seats. The flying jaguar silhouette and round horn bezel on the steering wheel are finished in Satin Black.
