It is a shame, however, that 2024 certainly did not start in the best way, with sales falling compared to 2023 and Star who decided to close the Innovation Lab, the company’s development center.

So, in this period Maserati it needs new ideas and new projects to finally become one of the reference points on the international market again. The choice therefore seems to be changing more and more towards the reality of electricity, with Maserati also being central in the development of Formula E, but this time it is about to give life to a model that is very reminiscent of Alfa Romeo.

Maserati Kubang EV: Trident becomes “economical”

Certainly we should not think of a small car for Maserati’s project to reduce and have costs, but for the project of Kubang EV we are going in a very specific direction. With this version of zero impact, still unknown at the moment, an electric model with the ability to set very low costs will be created.

The Maserati in fact it refocuses the range in a smart and alternative way, with a car that will not be more than 420 cm, so it can also be a crossover. This means that it can somehow be similar to the Junior, now the old Milano, from Alfa Romeo, with this version being only 3 cm shorter.

A car with zero impact will try to somehow be appreciated also for its autonomy, considering really how the battery will reach the total of approx. 450 km for one payment. At the moment there is also a discussion of a double version, with a basic model that will have limited capacity 240 horses, at the top he will reach 300 horse power.

As far as speed is concerned, so it is difficult Kubang EV it can reach more than 200 kilometers per hour, with Maserati focusing everything on the innovative project. In fact, we will try to maintain the classic style and beauty of the Trident, without the power that increased the price significantly. At the moment we are talking about a model that should start from only 60 thousand euros in the basic price list, the lowest and most profitable of the market.
