Friulmotor is ready for the IRC challenge with two Hyundai i20 N Rally2s at the start


Friulmotor will also be present at the start of the International Rally Cup, a championship made up of four races that will start on the weekend of 26-27 April with the Rallye Elba. From the Portoferraio race the Manzano team will present two Hyundai i20 N Rally 2, which will be handed over to many Friulian crews. The first is created by Filippo Bravi and Enrico Bertoldi, the second by Alberto Martinelli and Lisa De Cecco. The two couples will take part in all the tests of the series organized by Irc Sport: after the round on the island of Elba, they will be at the start of the Taro International Rally (25-26 May), the Casentino International Rally (12-13 July) and the Valli della Carnia Rally ( 27-28 September). The tournament will end at home, in Ampezzo where both teams reached the finish line several times.

“A great challenge for our team, which we will face with enthusiasm and professionalism – expresses the opinion of the De Cecco family -. The fact that the series ends in the province of Udine, and therefore at home, represented a great motivation for both duos to participate. We are sure that we can find great satisfaction.” Regarding the two couples, the sixth consecutive season with Friulmotor for Filippo Bravi and Enrico Bertoldi, who achieved the best results of their career in the Hyundai i20 R5 first and with the Hyundai i20 N Rally 2, winning the Fourth Regional Rally Championship. in 2019 and arrived in second place in the Italian national Cup final in 2022. Bravi and Bertoldi won six races in total, including the Rally Valli della Carnia twice. In his second year with the Manzano team, however, it was Alberto Martinelli, who made his debut in the i20 N Rally2 at the 2023 Friuli Venezia Giulia Rally, competing in two races in total. For him it will be the first match with Lisa De Cecco on the note.

Both crews have already tested the cars in 2024 during the test day held in Carnia. Both cars at the start of the IRC championship will have Pirelli tyres.
