King’s former Land Rover Discovery heading to auction

A Land Rover Discovery formerly belonging to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is set to be auctioned off by a renowned auction house in the near future.

The iconic four-wheel-drive vehicle, which is believed to have been owned by the King of Pop in the mid-1990s, will be put up for sale by Los Angeles-based Julien’s Auctions in the coming weeks.

The Discovery, which features a number of customizations, such as a unique interior and a custom stereo system, is expected to fetch a hefty sum when it goes up for bidding.

“This is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a piece of Michael Jackson’s personal history,” said Martin Nolan, executive director of Julien’s Auctions. “This Land Rover has been the subject of much speculation over the years, and we are proud to put it up for auction and give fans of the King of Pop the chance to own it.”

The Discovery, which is currently in the possession of a private collector, will be offered with a certificate of authenticity and is expected to draw great interest from car enthusiasts and Jackson fans alike.

“The Land Rover was a part of Michael Jackson’s life at a time when he was arguably one of the most famous people in the world,” said Nolan. “It is a piece of history that we are excited to make available to the public.”

The auction house is yet to announce an exact date for the sale of the Discovery, but it is expected to draw significant interest from collectors and Jackson fans alike.
