Top 24H qualifying matches for Porsche and Bachler

Porsche continues its march on the Nordschleife. After the victory of the #44 Falken Motorsports 911 GT3 R yesterday in race 1, it is now the 33 of Klaus Bachler that finishes at the top of the Nürburgring 24 Hours Qualifying time sheet.

Teammate Julien Andlauer clocked 8:09.219, compared to 8:09.591 from another Porsche, that of Dennis Olsen. The Ferrari 296 GT3/Frikadelli Racing, wearing bib #1, took the third fastest time thanks to Daniel Keilwitz at 1.352s.

Nico Menzel’s Porsche 911 GT3 R/Falken Motorsports finished in the top five, as did Marchewicz’s Mercedes-AMG GT3/Schnitzelalm Racing.

Sixth fastest time for the #16 Audi R8 LMS GT3/Scherer Sport PHX of Ricardo Feller, ahead of the Porsche 911 GT3 R/Manthey EMA of Thomas Preining.

Kelvin van der Linde’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3/Abt Sportsline, Fred Vervisch’s Audi/Scherer Sport PHX and David Pittard’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3/Walkenhorst Motorsport rounded out the top 10. The top ranked BMW M4 GT3 is that of ROWE Racing. driven by Sheldon van der Linde, only 11th.

Franck Mailleux put the Glickenhaus Racing 004C in 15th place, the best time in SP-X.
