You won’t believe what Vagabund Moto has just unveiled: a stunning rendering of the Land Rover Defender 90! Founded in 2015 by Paul Brauchart and Philipp Rabl, these guys are already big names in the custom motorcycle scene and are known for their crafty, minimalist designs. Now they are taking it a step further, expanding into special vehicles. This Defender is their best work.
So this beautiful 4×4 started life as a Land Rover Defender 90 and passed through the hands of Vagabund Moto and Dakar Garage. The project started a few years ago, but pandemic-related delays meant it took longer. But, it was worth the wait! They stripped it down, gave it the signature Vagabund treatment and voilà!

Travel in style
The car is a black and gray beast with metal bumpers, big wheels and road tires. The flared fenders give that a little extra and make room for those big wheels. But it’s not just about looks: we love the interior too! Sports seats, custom Alcantara dashboard, folding windshield and removable Bluetooth speaker cube, talk about traveling in style!
A multitasking animal
They have thought of everything, even adding bike mounts. Under the hood is an updated V8 engine, mated to a manual gearbox. This is not your average hardcore off-roader. Vagabund aimed for something different: a fun and comfortable ride for lazy Sunday drives and beach trips. You know, the kind of thing that most Defender builds end up doing.
The Vagabund Motorcycle
This Defender 90 project is their third 4×4 model, but it has us excited for the off-road and automotive projects these Austrians come up with. We can’t wait to see what else Vagabund Moto has in store. The price of this sample is not yet clear. But we will definitely hear more about it in the future!
