Volvo Black Edition (2024): special models | autozeitung.de

Volvo has renamed the electric versions of its best-selling XC40 and C40 to the EX40 and EC40 and is giving the range a special design crown, the Black Edition.

For the (re) christening, models of Volvo did not have holy water, but instead dipped in ink. Black, blacker, Black Edition: What doesn’t already shine in Onyx Black on the electric SUVs now called the EX40 and EC40 Black Edition is either high-gloss, chrome-plated or anthracite black. The XC40, which is still available as a compact hybrid, can also be ordered as a special Black Edition model. The extra black version is based on the Plus or Ultra device lines, which are still being offered. Also interesting: Tips for our products on Amazon

To keep the interior from being too dark, ambient lighting is included as standard. The Harman Kardon system also promises high-quality sound with 600 watts for pleasant sounds. The Android Automotive-based infotainment system offers digital services from Google, including a 4-year subscription. The equipment also includes 20-inch black displays, Keyless Drive automatic door opener and keyless ignition, cruise control and blind spot warning system.

The top-of-the-line Ultra Black Edition goes even further: a sliding glass roof with lift function, aluminum trim in the interior, a sports steering wheel and dark imitation leather covers for the seats. Black entertainment is available from 49,190 euros (prices from April 2024) as the XC40 Black Edition, which as a petrol hybrid sends 163 hp (120 kW) or 197 hp (145 kW) to the front wheels. Its electronic variants, now known as EX40, demand at least 55,590 euros as the Black Edition. With a sliding rear, these come as EC40s, which means you’ll have to pay at least 57,090 euros.
