DS Automobiles once again emphasizes its commitment to art and presents a special edition DS 7 Crossback Louvre. The French manufacturer is planning a limited edition of only 1,500 copies.

So DS cars has been a partner of one of the largest and most famous museums in the world since its launch in 2015. The collaboration with the French mecca of art and culture has resulted in a special edition of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre.

The unique model can be recognized by the “Louvre” badges placed on the hood, front doors and tailgate, as well as black inserts on the body. The DS 7 Crossback Louvre offers customers 20-inch Alexandria-patterned rims with pyramid laser engraving on the black glass housings.

The pyramid pattern is also present in the interior of the car. The logo can be found on the air intakes, dashboard, glove compartment cover and Nappa leather upholstery. On a large 12-inch screen you can view 182 works of art from the Louvre with descriptions in five languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Italian. There was also a portrait of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, The Wedding at Cana by Véronèse, and The Raft of the Medusa by Théodore Géricault.

The limited series is based on the rich Grand Chic finish (inspired by DS Opera Noir Art Basalte). Features include LED fog lights, keyless entry and start, heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, 12-inch digital touchscreen, wireless smartphone charger , parking assist and reversing camera. The car offers many safety assistance systems, including: lane departure warning, road sign recognition, continuous blind spot monitoring, level 2 autonomous driving system and DS Active Scan suspension controlled by camera.

The DS 7 Crossback Louvre is offered with 180 and 225 HP petrol engines and a 180 HP diesel engine. The special edition can also be ordered in a plug-in hybrid version with 225 or 300 HP.

With the DS 7 Crossback Louvre, customers receive the “Friends of the Louvre” card, which guarantees unlimited access to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions at the Louvre, the Eugène-Delacroix National Museum and more than 100 other museums for throughout the year.

The DS 7 Crossback is offered in four shades: Ink Blue, Crystal Pearl, Perla Nera Black and Platinium Gray and is offered in the French market at a price starting at PLN 54,000. euros. The car will also be available in Poland.
