LMC Innovan 590 based on Ford Transit Custom

However, it is currently difficult for LMC to find enough basic vehicles. Car maker Fiat is also struggling with a global chip shortage. At 5.98 meters long and 2.06 meters wide, the LMC Innovan 590 is slightly less spacious than the similarly long Innovan based on the Fiat Ducato. We see this especially in the crossover bed, which is 1.88 m long in the slightly narrower Ford Transit. But thanks to the large headroom of 2.08 meters, the sense of space in the LMC Innovan is very convincing again. The limited width also forced LMC to adjust the depth of the kitchen block here and there. The new Innovan model also scores well in terms of payload. A curb weight of only 2,756 kg enables a payload of around 540 kg.

Safety and comfort

In fact, Ford Transit Custom, as befits a modern car, also has a whole range of safety systems on board. They make driving not only safer but also more comfortable. For example, Ford has a lane assistant and ACC cruise control, among other things. Also good is the heating of the windshield with integrated heating wires, which always ensures a clear view. The infotainment system can be easily connected to a smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

It is completely finished

The new LMC Innovan also belongs to the entry-level segment in terms of price. However, the Innovan 590 is equipped with standard equipment. For example, it has frame windows, a panoramic roof, a sunroof and an additional entrance. In the interior, the Innovan has a modern, handle-less design, surfaces with anti-fingerprint coating, soft-close function on all cabinets, LED lighting in the bathroom and much more.
