Tesla Model S Plaid, the new sports seats arrive in an electric version with more than 1,000 HP

Tesla has brought a minor update to its Model S Plaid. For the high-performance version of its electric sedan, the automaker has announced the arrival of new sports seats. The Model S Plaid has been available to customers for a few years now and has not received any specific technical or hardware updates since its debut. For a while, however, there has been talk of the arrival of a few innovations including the introduction of special sports seats.

The current seats are good but not suitable for fast driving, maybe on the track. So Tesla has decided to fill this gap by introducing new sports seats that will be offered as standard, without any extra charge.

We know that the future Performance (or Ludicrous) version of the Tesla Model 3 will also have sports seats. Therefore, the American car manufacturer has decided to provide special seats for its high performance electric cars that enable them to always provide high comfort but also a good grip in sports driving.

There is currently no other information for the Tesla Model S Plaid. We remind you that the electric sedan can rely on electric power with 3 electric motors capable of producing 1,020 HP (750 kW). Top speed is 322 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds. Freedom reaches 600 km according to the WLTP cycle. In Italy, this model costs 110,990 euros.
