BYD Seal U is the new SUV from the Ocean family – News and Overview

The European BYD family has been enriched by the arrival of the new Seal U, an electric SUV of the D segment and the latest model of the Sea Series, emphasizing the strategy of the brand summarized in the message ‘in Europe to stay’, also remembered during the presentation. event held at the showroom in Piazza Duomo in Milan.

Characterized by a unique design, the newcomer enters the electric car market with two trim levels, which are Comfort (71.8 kWh battery) and Design (87 kWh), with prices starting at 42,890 euros. The declared goal is to combine aesthetic elegance with advanced technology.
Equipped with an electric motor, the BYD Seal U accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The new generation battery promises up to 700 kilometers per charge, effectively putting Seal U at the top of its category.
Seal U is also a new representative of the Ocean series, which includes Seal and Dolphin, and is designed according to the brand’s ‘Ocean Aesthetics’ design language. The SUV features an X-shaped front with a rounded and curved design. U-shaped headlights fit into the bonnet, in keeping with the Marine series identity, while dual lenses enhance its premium appearance.
For the side view, 19-inch alloy wheels with gloss black make-up and high gloss finish. The rear bumper is accented with black and silver detailing, while the LED taillight design is inspired by water-drop elements, referencing the ‘Ocean Aesthetics’ design language.
The interior has been designed to provide maximum comfort, with a series of high-tech features, including the latest driver assistance systems and an intuitive user interface.
