The accident happened on Thursday around 7 pm in the village of Stasinów in the Radzyń district. On the national road number 63, on the section between Radzyń Podlaski and Wisznice, a passenger car hit a tree. Fire brigade, medical rescue team and police immediately intervened.

As previously determined by the police, the 26-year-old Audi driver was heading towards Radzyń Podlaski. He started to pass the car in front of him. When he started pulling in the left lane of the road, he saw a motorcycle coming from the other side at high speed.

He backed into his lane to avoid a collision and braked hard to avoid hitting the car in front of him. Then he failed to control the car which went off the road and hit a tree.

As Deputy Commissioner Piotr Mucha from the District Police Headquarters in Radzynek Podlaski points out, the motorcyclist did not even stop. The driver of the Audi, a resident of the Sławatycze district, was injured and transported to the hospital.

Now, officials are working to determine the details of the incident. They also appealed to the witnesses of the accident to contact them by calling 47 81 422 10.
