We don’t know much, but we’re interested

The only feature of this new luxury SUV that Acura revealed is that it will have a turbocharged engine. They didn’t even tell us which one to use. We can see the 1.5-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine from the Integra in the new ADX. This can give the SUV 200 horsepower, giving it plenty of fun on any road.

The new ADX should have AWD as an option for those who want power to all four wheels. Still, it can come standard as a FWD SUV.

What? What does the 2025 Acura ADX compete with?

This new subcompact Acura SUV will compete with three German luxury rivals: BMW X1, Audi Q3, and Mercedes-Benz GLA. There are other models in the luxury SUV class, but these are the top dogs right now. This means that ADX has its work cut out for it to get the attention it needs and a large following. This SUV class is the entry point for many consumers to become lifelong brand loyalists.

Creating a luxury version of the HR-V could save money for Acura, Honda’s luxury arm, but it could spell death for the new SUV before it even takes off. The new 2025 Acura ADX brings the brand’s SUV total to four, providing a new gateway for SUV owners. According to Emile Korker, Acura’s assistant vice president of National Marketing:

With the first-ever ADX, and the all-electric ZDX , the Acura lineup will have SUVs covered from A to Z.
