The Germans from Manhart Performance have just launched the CP 500: a preparation for the Cupra Formentor VZ5, which offers 490 horses.
Sporty compact SUV based on the MQB platform of Seat León, the Cupra-Formentor comes with a version VZ5For Veloz (fast in Spanish) and 5 cylinders. This puts under its bonnet a 2.5-liter TSI engine with 390 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, along with a seven-speed DSG7 dual-clutch gearbox.
Limited to only 7,000 copies worldwide, the Spanish sports SUV already runs from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.

But apparently it wasn’t enough Manhart’s performancewhich launches this new preparation called CP 500 for Cupra Formentor VZ5.
The German producer has actually tackled the engine, and gave it a new map that is available in a small box called Manhart MHtronik. This allows him to now develop 490 horsepower and 630 Nm of torquean increase of 100 horses and 150 Nm of torque over the stock configuration.
The machinery has also been improved with the arrival of a intercooler special signature Wagner, as well stainless steel exhaust system Manhart has active coilovers and large titanium gray pipes on each side, not to mention shorter H&R springs to lower the car 35mm at the front and 30mm at the rear.

Cupra Formentor Manhart CP 500: sporty look
To complete its appearance, there is a new one 20 inch rims Manhart Concave One painted in satin black, and fitted with a bronze colored pipe to match the Cupra Formentor production in the best possible way. These rims are fitted with sports tires in 255/35 ZR20, while other possibilities of rim styles are offered in the Manhart catalog.
The set is complete with a Manhart sticker set, still in bronze tones, while other materials, and especially the interior, remain original. The German producer, however, notes that personalized interiors can be made upon request to its customers.
Beach price, you will need to count €1,999 for the MHtronik power unit, €2,900 for the stainless steel exhaust, €1,099 for the decorative stickers, €2,940 for the alloy rims, plus €360 for the short springs. Manhart also offers LED starlights for €2,185, or a set of Manhart-specific floor mats for €195.
