Manhart TR 800: Porsche 911 Turbo S with 833 hp

Tuner Manhart missed the 911 Turbo S 183 additional hp. The chassis and optics do not remain untouched either.

In the Porsche 911 Turbo S, two exhaust gas turbines provide extra punch from the 3.8 liter boxer engine. Ex works, 650 hp and 800 Nm crown this 911 as the top model in the series. 2.7 seconds to sprint to 100 km / h and a top speed of 330 km / h leave hardly anything to be desired, even in the standard version.

More pressure on the boxer

However, the tuner Manhart puts his hands on the Zuffenhausener – because he can do it and the sports car customer obviously can’t get enough performance. New intercoolers and modified exhaust gas turbines increase the boxer’s transmission. Fully tuned with new engine management, the six-cylinder packs 833 hp and 965 Nm on the test bench roller – 183 hp and 165 Nm more than the series. In addition, Manhart offers a stainless steel sports exhaust system with flap control. If you don’t care about proper registration or live out of state, you can also have new exhaust systems and 200 cell sport catalytic converters installed. Either way, the eight-speed dual-clutch circuit is modified for new loads. Manhart only puts a hand in a popular, powerful custom brake system at the customer’s request. More stopping power can also be found here.

A small cut is used for the chassis. Shorter springs lower the body of the 911 by 30 millimeters. This improves driving dynamics and is also beneficial for optics. Concave One type internal forged wheels fill the wheelhouses measuring 9.5×21 inches at the front and 12×22 inches at the rear axle. Similar rubbers carry sizes of 255/30ZR21 and 335/25ZR22.

Carbon for optics

The carbon fairing from the conclave ensures a sportier look. However, Manhart gets the body kits from Advanced Automotive Design. The front has a spoiler lip and a frame for apron ventilation. The side line is refined with glass covers and sills and at the back there is not only a diffuser, but also a large wing, which can be extended as a complete highlight. The adhesive decoration is again the original Manhart. In this case, the black foil meets the bright orange body. The interior takes this two-tone scheme again. This got a full leather interior and floor mats with an embossed refiner logo.

Conclusion

Manhart gives the 911 Turbo S full performance and also slightly polishes the top 911’s imagination.
