We are witnessing major market changes in terms of price bubbles bursting in real time. This kind of thing is now happening every day, to the point where we can see people getting fed up with the way things were going and pushing for change. Well, this change is now happening before our eyes.

Think about this – just a few months ago, we saw a C8 Z06 that sold for $192,000 at auction, a full $25,000 over MSRP! So how do you go from $25k above MSRP to about $8k below MSPR in such a short period of time? It takes a lot of people to pull in the same direction, that’s right.

It also shows that private parties are more likely to “just want to sell already” as opposed to traders who are fighting tooth and nail to get their savings.

I could be wrong, but this could be the first used 2023 Corvette Z06 to be sold, let’s say, below its MSRP. Granted, $8,000 isn’t a lot for a supercar buyer, but it’s more than $1,500 or more, because most other Z06 Vettes that went for below or near MSRP at auction were always around that mark, give or take.

Also, not like this especially the Z06 has some kind of bum. It is still a Convertible 3LZ design. It was bought new by the dealer for $161,895, and just yesterday, with 1,000 miles on the clock, they let it go for $154,000.

There’s a lot to like about it, starting with the Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic exterior, featuring Carbon Flash Metallic racing stripes on top. You also get LED lights and a set of 20″ and 21″ five-spoke carbon wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and yellow calipers atop carbon-ceramic rotors. This Vette also comes with a front axle lift system and Magnetic Steering Control.

The cabin is gorgeous, with Jet Black GT2 power adjustable bucket seats (heated and ventilated), carbon fiber cargo, 14-speaker Bose sound system, side belt climate control dual automatic, cruise control, remote start, carbon fiber. and a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and an 8” touchscreen with Chevrolet Infotainment 3.

As for the power unit, you already know it’s a beast. In fact, it’s the entire drivetrain that makes the C8 Z06 such a formidable supercar. It has a 5.5-liter flat-plane LT6 V8 engine, sending 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a Tremec TR-9080 eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Over the quarter mile, this is a 10-second drive, which is how you make Dominic Toretto proud – at least it would have worked when his character arc was grounded in reality. Today, you’ll probably need to travel at breakneck speed to get him to raise an eyebrow.
