Chery Exlantix ET: Premium electric SUV before market launch

Exeed, a brand of Chinese automaker Chery, has started production with the high-end electric SUV Exeed ET. The electric car is now available to customers in China, with first deliveries expected by March. With this new model, Exeed increases the competition in the already crowded electric SUV market.

Exeed ET will also come to Europe. But then under the brand name Exlantix. Due to the similarity of the name with the known models from the market competitor Kia, the name of the brand new was decided in Europe. Built on Chery’s electric platform called E0X, the Exlantix ET shares its technical base with the Exlantix ES, launched at the end of last year, and the Luxeed S7, a collaboration between Chery and Huawei.

The Exlantix ET will start with a two-wheel-drive system. The engine on the front axle produces a maximum of 183 kW (245 hp), while the engine on the rear axle reaches up to 230 kW (315 hp). Depending on the battery variant, which is between 60.7 and 97.7 kWh, the car should have a range of 500 to 700 km. Remember in the Chinese circuit CLTC.
