Collectors want this Maserati MCXtrema

Attention wealthy collectors and racing enthusiasts. Maserati presents the MCXtrema, a unique beast that is illegal on public roads.

The MCXtrema is based on the MC20, which you can drive on the road. That’s what we did. Watch a video of the supercar here.

The Maserati MCXtrema is not street legal

Back to the old off-road vehicle. The Maserati MCXtrema has the same training as the MC20. The 3.0-liter V6 with two turbos produces 100 more hp in the racer. Total power, thanks to new turbos, is 730 hp. Pulling power is 730 Nm, the same as the ‘regular’ MC20. The six-cylinder is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox.

The Maserati MCXtrema offers more than just a lot of power. The vehicle is 5.2 meters long and weighs only 1,300 kg. This means 1.8 kg per horsepower.

The weight is partly due to the interior of the work and the open. For example, you will only get a screen on the steering wheel and no good finish. Even the driver’s seat is optional. However, a roll cage and six seat belts are standard. This is what a racing car should be!

Visibility also screams speed. With all kinds of air deflectors, scoops and a big spoiler (of course made of Cabron threads), racing fans can’t help but be jealous of the owner of a Maserati MCXtrema like that.

So the Maserati MCXtrema is for rich (hobby) drivers, but collectors and other loyal customers can also contact the Italians for one of the 62 copies. All cars are now sold for about 1.5 million dollars each.
