The first generation Quattroporte was a pioneer, created as a result of the intuition and courage of the Italian brand. The powerful 8-cylinder engine was race-derived and was perfectly matched by the robust yet elegant exterior and interior design. Over the years, the Quattroporte I positioned itself as a ‘limousine with a racing spirit’, and the original version reached a top speed of up to 230 km/h. It was an impressive car with a regal appearance, which was often featured at galas or awards ceremonies as a fancy transport for guests.

Quattroporte represents the passion and talent of everyone involved in different generations over the years. Frua laid the first lines, followed by other masters such as Bertone, Giugiaro, Gandini and Pininfarina, to the Maserati Centro Stile, home of the current generation Quattroporte. A family of technicians, mechanics, test drivers and designers brought cars from the drawing board to the road. The Quattroporte has long been a reflection of the Modena brand as well as of the professional lifestyle of many people.

Although the second generation of the Quattroporte was a daring but less impressive effort, the Quattroporte III – in the hands of De Tomaso – marked a great success, followed by a new challenge that completely failed in the late 90s. Finally, models followed that made a strong break with the day of the past, but remained true to its winning formula, such as the award-winning 2003 generation later, after various new styles, technical innovations, changes in the organizational structure and countless models produced, the Quattroporte maintains its approach to exclusivity.
